<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power steering device allowing easy installation of a damper valve even if the constitution is such that a power cylinder is formed in a single piece in a housing and capable of constructing the device in a small size. <P>SOLUTION: The power steering device has a first communication passage to put a first oil pressure chamber formed nearer the input shaft than a piston in communication with a control valve and a second communication passage to put a second oil pressure chamber formed on the opposite side to the first chamber relative to the piston in communication with the control valve. The damper valve is installed on the way of the first and second passages and is set so that the second valve opening pressure to generate communication between the two passages with the oil pressure supplied from the first and second chambers is greater than the first valve opening pressure to generate communication between the two passages with the oil pressure supplied from the control valve, and further a valve accommodation hole to accommodate the damper valve is formed at the housing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
