<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power factor compensating controller and a method for controlling and delaying power factor compensating switch-on timing from zero-crossing timing by a predetermined time, in an inverter control circuit. <P>SOLUTION: The power factor compensating control method of the inverter control circuit includes a step of detecting the zero-crossing position of the input voltage phase, a step of turning on the power factor compensating switch, after the lapse of the on-timing of the power factor compensating switch set as the timing delayed from the zero-crossing timing by a predetermined time, and a step of turning off the power factor compensating switch, after a predetermined time when the power factor compensating switch has been turned on. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
