PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image browsing apparatus which uses color temperature. SOLUTION: The image browsing apparatus includes an image data storage part (image database) 60 for storing input image, a color temperature calculator 10 for calculating the color temperature of the input image, a metadata formation part 50 which forms metadata which describes input image by using color temperature received from the color temperature calculator 10, a metadata memory (metadata database) 90 which stores the metadata received from the metadata formation part 50, a command input part 70 to which an image browsing mode is inputted from a user, and a color temperature browser 20 which searches metadata in a range corresponding to searched color temperature of the image browsing mode, receives an image corresponding to the searched metadata from the image data storage part 60 and outputs the image.
