PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic vending machine for cooling or heating or selling merchandise for displaying a heating time, and for suppressing the selling of merchandise deteriorated by heating. SOLUTION: This automatic vending machine is provided with a main body 2 equipped with a plurality of merchandise storage devices 1, a cooling/heating means 3 for cooling or heating merchandise stored in a merchandise storage device 1 installed at the lower part of the main body 2, a fan 4 for sending air cooled and heated by the cooling/heating means 3, a temperature detecting means 5 for detecting the temperature of the stored merchandise, a timer 6 for performing the time measurement of 24 hours and a display means 7 for displaying the various statuses of the automatic vending machine. The heating time accumulation of each merchandise is displayed at a display means 7 by an arithmetic control part 10 so that a residual time until deterioration by heating can be calculated, and that a merchandise exchanging period can be easily determined.
