PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buffer of a jaw crusher that prevents the damages when surplus impulse force is added to a jaw crusher. SOLUTION: Wedge blocks (9, 21) can be transferred through a toggle plate (7) and a toggle block (8) against the wedge friction with the toggle block (8) when the surplus impulse force is added to a swing jaw (5) having the moving teeth (4) opposite to the immobilized teeth (3) fixed to a crusher body (2). This transfer absorbs the surplus impulse force by moving a coil spring (12) interposed between the wedge blocks (9, 21) and the crusher body. When the surplus impulse force is removed, the jaw crusher (1) is instantly restored to the original crushable state by energization force of the coil springs (12, 22). COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
