<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and apparatus for forming an image preventing an operation stop by a memory-full state on the master machine side and dividing no printing result in the intermediate section of a forming section. <P>SOLUTION: The system for forming the image having a means in which a plurality of the devices for forming the image are connected and constituted electrically, an arbitrary one device for forming the image in a plurality of ones is used as a master machine, read image data are transferred to the other devices for forming the image as slave machines and the master machine, and the slave machines share a printing as a connection job and process the printing in parallel. When the master machine side reaches the memory-full state during an original reading, a share printing number on the master machine side is changed over to one printing number. The image data are deleted by a printing completion at every one page and an image-transfer completion to the slave machine side, and the residual numbers are all printed on the slave machine side in this case. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
