<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for determining the arrangement order of component cassettes for a component mounting machine having a mounting head for sucking and mounting a plurality of components, by which the optimal mounting order of components can be determined in a short time. <P>SOLUTION: The method for determining the arrangement order of component cassettes comprises a nozzle set determining section 305a for determining one or more nozzle sets optimal for mounting all the components; a nozzle pattern/Z arrangement determining section 305b for determining an optimal nozzle pattern, and Z arrangement which reduces the number of up and down movements of a suction head; and a mounting order optimizing section 305c for optimizing the mounting order at the determined nozzle pattern and Z arrangement (that is, with the determined nozzle pattern and Z arrangement unaltered). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
