<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise convenience concerning a device, a method, and a program for determining question type classification. <P>SOLUTION: The question type classification determining device for analyzing an inputted object question phrase and determining the question type classification comprises a feature phrase extracting part for extracting a feature phrase to be a cue for the determination of the question type classification from the object question phrase; a question information accumulation part for previously storing, at every question phrase, the included feature phrase and the question type classification with association; a similar question phrase searching part for searching a phrase similar to the object question phrase among the question phrases which are stored in the question information storage part, based on inter-feature phrase similarity; and a question type classification determining part for determining the question type classification of the object question phrase, based on the question type classification which is allowed to correspond to the question phrase searched in the similar question phrase searching part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
