<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to merrily perform performance practice of a musical instrument by making the user hear voice such as words and note syllable names (do, re, mi or the like). <P>SOLUTION: The electronic musical instrument stores a plurality of voice data (namely, voice waveform data) expressing a plurality of syllables (a, i, u... or do, re, mi...) and automatic performance data expressing performance music. The automatic performance data comprises a series of note data and information indicating voice data corresponding to the note data. The voice data are reproduced at a frequency corresponding to both notes (steps S21 and S22) in the case that both the notes are accorded by comparing a note expressed by performance information from a key board with another note expressed by the performance data.
