PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shield machine capable of smoothly constructing a sharp curved tunnel making the most of the effect of an outbreak part excavated by a copy cutter. SOLUTION: A cutter head 14 provided with a bending device capable of bending a shield cylinder, to excavate the natural ground, is provided with an outbreak mechanism for excavating the outside of the shield cylinder, and a hood 11 of the shield machine formed with a chamber 27 surrounded by a partition wall 10, the hood 11 and the cutter head 14, is provided with excavated soil passing windows 28 formed at an inside part or both side parts of a curve to take sediment excavated by the outbreak mechanism, into the chamber 27.
