PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a bridge painting work method for efficiently carrying out painting work of a beam disposed at the upper end part of a bridge. SOLUTION: This bridge painting work truck 1 composed of a lateral pair of trucks 2, 3 connected to each other is assembled on right and left working rails 111, 112 corresponding to the painting work start position of a truss beam 105 of the bridge 100, and workers get on a lower stage floor panel 13, an upper stage floor panel 17, or the like of the assembled bridge painting work truck 1 to carry out painting work of the truss beam 105. A rotary steering wheel 23 is turned to move the bridge painting work truck 1 along the working rails 111, 112 into the following painting work position. Painting and movement are repeated, and after painting work is completed, the bridge painting work truck 1 is moved into a predetermined position and dismantled.
