PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sample soil collector 10 capable of collecting sample soil in objective depth from an improved pole body constructed in the ground and hardly forming a passage mark of the collector 10 as a cavity when pulling up a soil improving agitator. SOLUTION: The sample soil collector 10 mounted to an agitation blade of the soil improving agitator for constructing the improved pole body in the ground to collect the sample soil in the objective depth is composed of a mounting part 20 constituted to be attachable to and detachable from the agitation blade 70; a collecting part 40 formed with an opening 30 for taking in the sample soil in the normal rotating direction of the agitation blade 70, and a closed slant face 31 in a reverse rotating direction; and a door 50 provided in an only outward openable manner at a side face which constitutes the collecting part 40.
