PRINTER AND ITS PAPER CARRIAGE CORRECTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of easily correcting the carriage of printing paper. SOLUTION: The printer 100 comprises a paper carrying means for carrying the printing paper, a pattern detecting sensor for detecting a test pattern printed on both sides of the printing paper carried by the paper carrying means in the direction perpendicular to the paper carrying direction, and a paper carriage correcting control means for correcting the carriage of the printing paper with the paper carrying means. The paper carriage correcting control means corrects the carriage of the printing paper with the paper carrying means in accordance with detection information for the test pattern of the printing paper detected by the pattern detecting sensor.
