PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium feeding mechanism capable of improving durability with a very simple structure and to provide a printing device equipped with it. SOLUTION: This recording medium feeding mechanism 14 is composed of a pressing plate 32 and a driving plate 33 arranged in parallel for each other across a feeding path 24 of a sheetlike recording medium 4 to feed the sheetlike recording medium 4 along the feeding path 24 by driving the driving plate 33. The driving plate 33 has a vibration element 40 vibrating in the direction in which it leaves and comes into contact with the pressing plate 32. The pressing plate 32 has many flexible raising projections 34 coming into contact with the sheetlike recording medium 4 on the feeding path 24 and tilting a tip side in the forward direction.
