<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the scale of an optical switch module with a simple configuration in a two-way optical communication system. <P>SOLUTION: In order to perform the switching of incoming uplink signals and downlink optical signals by the same optical switching module by utilizing a function of the optical switching module which can collectively process optical signals having respectively different wavelengths, transmitting directions, etc., coupling/separation means for respectively coupling or separating I/O optical signals of up link and I/O optical signals of down link are connected to respective I/O ports of the optical switching module. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
