<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal and the information inputting method of the portable terminal for speedily inputting a plurality of information without operating any button. <P>SOLUTION: This portable telephone set is provided with a movement detecting means 7 using a vibration sensor or an acceleration sensor or a displacement sensor for detecting such movement as vibration or impact or the displacement of the supporting body of mass applied to the telephone set main body. Movement data showing how to apply the movement are detected and generated by using a movement data generating means 10 from the detection signal of the movement detecting means 7. An input information identifying means 11 identifies one of two or more attributes related with how to apply movement from the movement data, and inputs information corresponding to the identified attributes to a processing means 8a of a control part 8. Thus, it is possible to perform a plurality of information inputs to instruct display scroll, page turning forward/backward, line feeding, Chinese character conversion, calling and incoming reply or the like to a processing means 8a for performing display processing to a display part 3 or text sentence entry processing, calling and incoming reply or the like without operating any button. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
