<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solenoid type electromagnetic clutch, in which manufacturing cost is greatly reduced, in which torque can be securely transmitted in spite of its compactness, and in simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: This device is provided with an electromagnetic solenoid, provided with a rotary shaft 20 in which a spline is formed, an excitation coil 32, and a yoke 34 and a movable part 39 as a magnetic circuit for the excitation coil 32, and an armature 40, having a spline in an engagement surface with the rotary shaft 20, and integrally formed with the movable part 39 of the electromagnetic solenoid 30. By action of the electromagnetic solenoid 30, spline surfaces of the rotary shaft 20 and the armature 40 are operated to be engaged and separated, thereby transmission of torque is controlled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
