PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superior method of manufacturing resin particles which can manufacture resin particles in an emulsion dispersing method without using an organic solvent for dissolving a resin but in an aqueous medium, even if using a resin having a comparatively high melting point (a melting point of 100°C or higher), and to provide a toner which is reduced in an inner void ratio and has a small diameter and a uniform and not broad particle size distribution without using processes for applying a mechanical stress to once formed particles and restoring by heat. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of resin particles has a process in which a resin is fed into an aqueous medium containing a dispersant, stirred under a pressurized atmosphere while being heated to a temperature of the melting point of the resin or higher, and an emulsion dispersing the melted resin is formed.
