PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide resin pellets of an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (EVOH) reducing an exhausting load to an environment by performing a moisten extrusion using an extruder and being good in a feeding property to the extruder, an extruding stability and a heat stability (a long running performance). SOLUTION: The EVOH resin is supplied to the extruder keeping the resin melting temperature in the extruder (is kept) at a temperature in a range of 70-170°C and adjusting a moisture content of the resin just after being discharged from the extruder to be 5-40 wt.% and then being cut. When the cross section of the resin pellet is observed by a polarization microscope, a spherurite can not be observed in the center part, a lubricant is not contained in the resin pellet and the pellets with an angle of repose of≤23°when the resin pellets are piled are obtained.
