PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the structure of an insulating mold which suppresses the deformation of a weather strip for a car by the softening of a core material made of a resin when the end parts of the extruded articles of the weather strip with the core material embedded are molding-connected to each other. SOLUTION: In the mold structure 1 for molding connection, the end parts of the weather strip 10 in which a hollow seal part 14 is extruded integrally with a fitting base part 12 having a U-shaped cross section with the core material 13 embedded are held to face each other with a prescribed space formed between them, and a molding material is injected into the space. A part excludes the hollow seal part 14 and the inside part of the fitting base part 12, and an insulating material 2 is set in the mold to surround the fitting base part 12 with the core material 13 embedded.
