PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate spring used for an expansible joint member of a road, a bridge, or the like, applicable in a limited space with a small spring dimension under a maximum load to the free length of the spring under no load. SOLUTION: The plate spring 7 is formed by arranging spring elements in series and/or in parallel, wherein each spring element is composed of two rectangular metal plates curved in circular arc shapes and arranged to contact with each other at the mutual circular arc ends, and formed with a protrusion with a height not larger than the plate thickness, on one side and a recessed part or a hole sized to put the protrusion, on the opposed other side. The plate spring 7 is interposed between a plurality of middle beams 4 arranged in forms of penetrating support beams 3 extending as bridges between girders of the bridge.
