SMOKE EMISSION CONTROL DEVICE AND ITS METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smoke emission control device for efficiently operating evacuation equipment using an emergency power supply. SOLUTION: Power to be used for a smoke emitter is temporarily reduced and extra power is used for the evacuation equipment such as an elevator. Smoke emission is stopped in sections requiring less smoke emission such as section where no people exist. An evacuation passage such as the elevator or an emergency stairway is pressurized to prohibit the entry of smoke. A valve to be opened with a pressure difference is provided between a pressurized region and the internal section of a building.
