PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and convenient paper sheet aligning device capable of efficiently aligning paper sheets even if a bundle of paper sheets collecting paper sheets such as ballot in a scattered condition is charged from a front face of a paper sheet storing member by grasping it with hand. SOLUTION: This paper sheet aligning device is provided with the paper sheet storing member 4 having an opened part 16 on a front face to store election ballots, a vibration device 12 for vibrating the paper sheet storing member 4, and an air supply device 15 for blowing air for the paper sheets 13. The paper sheet storing member 4 has a rear face member 18 for supporting a rear face of paper sheet, two slope members 19, 20 inclined and supporting two paper sheet fringe sides 14a, 14b orthogonally crossing the paper sheet 13, and two front face members 21, 22 supporting front faces of paper sheets in the vicinity of two paper sheet fringe sides supported by the slope members 19, 20. The air supply device 15 has an air flow passage composed of a duct-like upper face member 26 to blow air toward the paper sheet fringe side 14 from openings 29, 30 in the air flow passage.
