PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a non-washed part at a crossing corner part of a front surface and a side surface of a vehicle in a car washing machine. SOLUTION: The car washing machine 10 has a control means 20. In the control means 20, when a side brush 12 passes through the crossing corner part of the front surface and the side surface of the vehicle 1, a frame 11 and a carrier 22 are movement-controlled such that advancement action for advancing the side brush 12 until the side brush 12 is strongly brought into contact with the front surface of the vehicle at approximately constant contact pressure and transverse movement action for transversely moving the side brush 12 to a side direction along the front surface of the vehicle 1 until the side brush 12 after the advancement action looses the strong contact with the front surface of the vehicle 1 are repeated.
