PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove a joint groove in the execution face of a tile carpet using hard twist yarn for the pile without spoiling the hard twist form of a pile. SOLUTION: Hard twist single yarns 11A, 11B, and 11C, which consists mainly of an animal hair fiber, is doubled and twisted to give a pile thread 12, a backing layer 14 is stacked in the rear face of a pile dish cloth in which a cut pile 13 is formed of the pile thread, the tile carpet 15 is formed by cutting out in a desired shape, and then, finishing is carried out by generating untwisting torque in the cut pile 13 by humidifying and heating a pile face. Bundling conditions between the hard twist single yarns 11 and 11 become free by humidifying and heating, the end of the pile piece 18 changes irregularly an orientation, the pile face spreads and the end 20 of the surrounding pile piece protrudes to the outside of the tile carpet 15, and short pile pieces 28 and 38 cut in the periphery are covered under a long pile piece 18 from which the leading front 20 is not cut.
