<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce unnecessary vibrations of an electronic cymbal which receives percussion on an upper face and detects and outputs the percussion. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic cymbal comprises a frame which extends along an edge, has a downwardly lowering step, and has a shape cutting off a portion of the step; a cover which covers the top surface of the frame, is formed thicker in the portion covering the step than the portion covering the inner side, is formed with the cut off step portion of the frame so as to fill the cut off space part of the step and is composed of a material softer than that of the frame; and a sensor which detects the vibrations of the frame. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
