<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and efficiently realize an information providing service matched to a user's interest by interlocking a broadcast service with a cellular phone terminal service. <P>SOLUTION: The user operates the cellular phone terminal 1 having channel remote control function to designate a channel, whereby the cellular phone terminal 1 outputs an infrared signal for setting the designated channel, and reports information for the designated channel to the content server 3.
