SOLUTION: This merchandise selling system is provided with an automatic vending machine 10 having a printing function for printing predetermined management information on merchandise, terminal equipment 20 having a reading function for reading the management information printed on the merchandise and a transmitting function for transmitting use information including the read result of the management information and its own terminal identification information, and a management device 30 for specifying the terminal equipment 20 on the basis of the terminal identification information when the use information is given from the terminal equipment 20 of the user, and for managing the specified terminal equipment 20 and the management information by associating them with each other.
