<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network search system, an information search method, a bridge device, and a program that enable many search requests to be handled at high speed. <P>SOLUTION: The network search system is provided which has a plurality of computers arranged on a network and in which, when one of the computer is instructed to search certain information, the plurality of computers search the information according to prescribed distributed hash algorithm using a distributed hash table, and the network search system is equipped with: an access device put in charge of some domains in a domain name space, the access device, when receiving name solution request for a domain name including the above domain name, instructing at least one of the computers to make a search based upon the name solution request to receive the search result and sending the received search result as an answer to the name solution request; and a user-side device which requests the access device to solve the domain name including the name of the above domain and receives the search result from the access device as an answer to the request. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
