PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide one lifting component with which a crane hook engages, adaptable for a plurality of types of large and small crane hooks without the need for special auxiliary tools including a bench wire and a lifting tool and for working labor. SOLUTION: The inverted-U-shaped lifting component 10 has an inverted-U-shaped curved portion whose upper end is in an elliptical cross section 13. The major diameter of the elliptical cross section 13 corresponds to the operating direction of lifting load, and the minor diameter of the elliptical cross section 13 is smaller than the opening size of the small crane hook.
