DOME TYPE DIAPHRAGM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dome type diaphragm 35 which realizes the strength increase of its edge 33 by increasing the rising height of the roll 33a of the edge 33 without sacrificing acoustic characteristics. SOLUTION: The dome type diaphragm 35 has a neck 35b on the periphery of a convex dome 35a forward in the amplitude direction and the inner edge 33 of the convex roll 33a continues to the neck 35b forward in the amplitude direction. The neck 35b has a convex curvature 39 backward in the amplitude direction, and the periphery of the curvature 39 smoothly continues to the inner edge of the roll 33a to realize the increased rising height of the roll 33a of the edge 33 without projecting the top position of the roll 33a forward in the amplitude direction and to avoid forming an acute elbow at the junction.
