PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular locking device capable of being easily mounted with a folding seat, etc., without damaging stability at the time of using in spite of a small amount of projection at low cost. SOLUTION: In the vehicular locking device provided with a striker and a locking mechanism 30 attachable/detachable to/from the striker, the locking mechanism 30 comprises a striker advance groove 34a, a pair of attachment plates 33, 34 parallel to each other and having penetration holes 34b, 34f positioned on both sides of the striker advance groove 34a, a pair of tubular members 35, 36 fixed between a pair of the attachment plates 33, 34 by making their positions coincide with the positions of the penetration holes 34b, 34f, a hook 31 pivotally attached to a pair of the tubular members 35, 36, respectively, for holding/releasing the striker advancing into the advance groove 34a, and a pole 32 for regulating a rotational position of the hook 31. A pair of the attachment plates 33, 34 are fixed to a vehicle body, and either of a rotational member or an attachable/detachable member by a fixing bolt 50 inserted into the penetration holes 34b, 34f and the both tubular members.
