PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent that the band of memory bus becomes insufficient, and to enable to distribute the load of data transfer. SOLUTION: This apparatus is a digital copy machine 1 provided with an image input unit 2 which reads in image of a manuscript, and a printer engine 3 which forms image on a medium based on the read-in image data. The apparatus uses bus of PCI (Peripheral Component Interconnect) Express standard for data transfer. Same switches by PCI Express standard are connected to a storage domain and hardware resources performing transmitting and receiving of image data to the storage domain as the end points of same standard; that is, the input and output domain 21, the image input unit 2, and the printer engine 3 are connected to a switch 11, and a preservation domain 22, a compressor 5, and hard disk 6 are connected to a switch 12.
