PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crimping method for optical fiber cable, a crimping tool and a fixture for adjusting the insertion amount of optical fiber cable which permits satisfactory optical-axis alignment and prevention of damages to optical fiber. SOLUTION: A caulking sleeve 10 is set on a sleeve disposition part 4 of a caulking blade 2, 2 in a crimping tool, such that the end part 11 of one side of the caulking sleeve 10 is located on the side of a caulking part 6 of the caulking blade 2, 2. Subsequently, a first optical fiber cable 24 is inserted from the side of the end part 11 of one side of the caulking sleeve 10 and a cable insertion part is caulked by the caulking part 6. Then, the caulking sleeve 10 is taken out once from the sleeve disposition part 4, and the caulking sleeve 10 is reset on the sleeve disposition part 4 such that the end part 12 of the other side of the the caulking sleeve 10 is located on the side of the caulking part 6. Then, a second optical fiber cable 26 is inserted from the side of the end part 12 of the other side of the caulking sleeve 10, and a cable insertion part is caulked by the caulking part 6.
