PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnified observation device and the like, capable of easily recognizing the height relationship in comparison between a plurality of three-dimensional images. SOLUTION: This magnified observation device is provided with an allocation part 512, which measures the distribution of height information included in a three-dimensional image, associates an expression pattern of a pixel expressible by a display part with the distribution of the height information, and allocates correlation between the height and the expression pattern for expressing a change in the height information by the change in the expression pattern, and an expression pattern image generating part allocating each expression pattern, based on the correlation by the allocation part 512 for each height information included in the thee-dimensional image and creating a three-dimensional expression pattern image that matches the height. The display part can display a plurality of three-dimensional images, at the same time, and in a plurality of three-dimensional images, the correlation between the height and the expression pattern in creation of each three-dimensional expression pattern image is shared among all the three-dimensional images in the expression pattern image generating part.
