摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric wave angle-of-arrival prediction system making capable of reducing cost by using one-dimensional angle of arrival prediction algorithm, maintaining almost the same performance as in the case using two-dimensional angle-of-arrival prediction algorithm and simplifying circuit constitution. SOLUTION: The system comprises an array antenna 5 having each at least a series of antenna element arrays in directions crossing with each other, waveform data gaining circuits 6a, 6b for frequency-converting the high frequency signal of wave containing the terminal specific information of a transmission terminal which is received with each antenna element 1 of the array antenna 5 and for gaining waveform data of A/D converted base band signal, one-dimensional angle-of-arrival prediction parts 7a, 7b for obtaining the phase difference between neighboring antenna elements 1 from the waveform data and calculating each of angles-of-arrival in horizontal direction and vertical direction of the wave based on the phase difference, and a received signal correlator 8 for predicting the two-dimensional angle-of-arrival of the wave based on the angle of arrival in horizontal direction and vertical direction corresponding to identical terminal specific information contained in the wave.
