Automatic translation method for e.g. telecommunication industry, involves minimizing semantic entropy of phrase of text by minimizing cost of journey between departure point and arrival point using shortest path of graph

The method involves establishing a value graph comprising summits and an adjacent matrix, and calculating a shortest path in terms of cost and number of lines in the graph. Each summit is a physical equipment and each line is a physical connection unit between two equipments. Semantic entropy of a phrase of a text is minimized by minimizing cost of journey between a departure point and an arrival point using the path. The equipments are transmitter equipment and equipment located within a digital telecommunication network. An independent claim is also included for an automatic translation system to implement an automatic translation method.
