PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor in which it can easily set to make a rotor moveable with respect to a motor casing in the axial direction at a prescribed range. SOLUTION: Motor is provided with the motor casing (a yoke 1 and end frame 3), on both ends of the axial direction of which first and second bearings 5, 6 are fixed, and the rotor 7, which has a rotating shaft 11 supported rotatably by the first and second bearings 5, 6 and made moveable to the motor casing in the axial direction within a prescribed range. The rotor 7 comprises a gear 16, which regulates the movement in the other direction of the axial direction by abutting against one end (via a washer 18) of the second bearing 6, and the gear 16 and a collar 15, which regulates the movement in one direction of the axial direction, by contacting the other end (via a washer 17) of the first bearing 5. It is set by the gear 1 and the collar 15 to make the rotor moveable with respect to the motor casing in the axial direction within the prescribed range.
