<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a streaming content reproducing method for preventing a moving picture and music from being interrupted during content reproduction and an Internet connecting device using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The transmission bit rate of received data from the Internet is measured, the entire amount of data of streaming content and a reproduction bit rate are acquired from a provider, a target amount of looking-ahead data for reproducing the streaming content to the last without interruption on the basis of a difference between the transmission bit rate and the reproduction bit rate and the entire amount of the data is calculated, the streaming content downloaded from the provider is stored in a buffer, and the streaming content is reproduced from the buffer after the amount of the data of the the streaming content stored in the buffer exceeds the target amount of the data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
