<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and lightweight relative driver producing a high torque. <P>SOLUTION: The two-phase excitation relative driver comprises first and second coil series, and a magnet series. In the magnet series, N and S poles are arranged alternately while facing the first and second coil series. The first and second coil series are arranged at positions shifted from each other by an electric angle of odd times of π/2. Each coil in the first and second coil series substantially has no core made of a magnetic body and the relative driver substantially has no yoke made of a magnetic body for forming a magnetic circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
