<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a POS system capable of preventing a troublesome operation that a user orally transmits a self-request to a service provider such as a seller as paying money, providing only information which the user judges that it may be provided to the service provider and automatically providing the user with service which can be provided according to the information provided from the user. <P>SOLUTION: A user data registration part 2 registers information set and registered by the user in a user data recording medium 1. A POS terminal 4 settles charges for articles which the user purchases. In this case, the POS terminal 4 records sales information of the articles to the user.
