PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a package for electronic parts and a piezo-electric oscillating device which can improve manufacture yield in hermetic seal and reliability after sealing simultaneously. SOLUTION: A surface mounted crystal resonator is constituted by a ceramic package 1 having a recess in which upper section opens, a tuning fork crystal vibration plate 2 of a piezo-electric vibration plate housed in the package, and a lid 3 joined to an opening of the package. In the ceramic package, a portion 1a is formed in which a first metal film layer 11a is not formed, and the lid 3 is mounted on the first metal film layer, then the hermetic seal is performed by an electronic beam.
