PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic shutter mechanism in which thickness reduction is achieved by preventing a plurality of shutter curtain drive mechanisms from mutually interfering. SOLUTION: The electrostatic shutter mechanism includes: a first fixed member 1b having a first driving electrode (4b) and an opening on its surface; a first moving member (24b) with light shield properties movable relative to the first fixed member by receiving drive force produced by the charges of the first drive electrode; a second fixed member (1a) disposed on the rear of the first fixed member and opposite the first moving member and having a plurality of second driving electrodes (4a) and an opening on its surface; and a second moving member (24a) with light shield properties disposed between the first fixed member and the second fixed member and movable relative to the second fixed member by receiving drive force produced by the charges of the second driving electrode.
