PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crime prevention device of an elevator allowing a user to confirm whether there is a dubious person at a destination floor or not before getting on a car because image in a landing place at the destination floor can be confirmed to prevent crime. SOLUTION: This crime prevention device of the elevator is provided with a landing place destination button 1 provided in a landing place at a predetermined floor to register a destination floor, a monitor 5 provided in the vicinity of the landing place destination button 1, a camera 3 installed in a landing place at each floor, and an image selection means 4 for selecting image from the camera 3 at the destination floor registered by the landing place destination button 1 and displaying it on the monitor 5.
