<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope excellent in washability as an endoscope apparatus by which required propelling force by the rotor arranged in the insertion assisting means and having good usability and an endoscope apparatus with the endoscope. <P>SOLUTION: A rotary adaptor 7 is arranged relative to an axial portion 42b of the sliding pipe 42 and a fixing ring member 41 is threaded to a male thread portion 24e, in the state that the sliding pipe 42 is arranged on the thin diameter portion 24d of a distal end portion 24. Thereby, the sliding pipe 42 is pushed and pressed by the fixing ring member 41. Thereby, the flange side end face of the sliding pipe 42 is pushed and pressed to a stage portion wall face 24g, the sliding pipe 42 is integrally secured and installed to the distal end portion 24. While, the rotary adaptor 7 is rotatably arranged between a flange portion 42a and the fixing ring member 41.
