<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving element and driving method of organic light emitting element for maintaining characteristics of a transistor by applying a reverse voltage, and to provide a display panel and display device provided therewith. <P>SOLUTION: First and second driving parts are connected to the organic light emitting element. A 1st switching part supplies, for a 1st frame period, a unidirectional 1st data voltage to the 1st driving part and supplies a reverse-directional 2nd data voltage to the 2nd driving part. A 2nd switching part supplies, for a 2nd frame period, the 2nd data voltage to the 1st driving part and supplies the 1st data voltage to the 2nd driving part. Thus, by electrifying a transistor control electrode by applying the unidirectional voltage thereto for a fixed period of time and de-electrifying further the trapped charges by applying the reverse-directional voltage thereto for the remaining period of time, the characteristics of the transistor can be maintained continuously. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
