PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately mold a recess of a molded member. SOLUTION: In a method for molding the recess 11 of the molded member 10 having the recess 11, the entire recess 11 is filled with a mold material 20, a surface 21 of the filled mold material 20 is shaped so as to fit to a shape of a surface 13 near the recess 11 of the molded member 10 and is covered with a mesh material 30; the surface 21 of the mold material 20 is laminated so as to cover the mesh material 30, and an excess filling part 23 of the mold material 20 is integrally formed with the surface 21; the filled and laminated mold material 20 is cured; the cured mold material 20 is removed from the molded member 10, along with the mesh material 30; and a part 22 molded by filling the mold material 20 and the excessively filling part 23 by lamination are separated by the mesh material 30 as a border.
