PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air diffuser capable of reducing pressure loss while keeping a good air diffusing state, and an air diffusing method.

SOLUTION: The air diffuser is equipped with a membrane air diffusing body having an elastic film provided with venting holes or permitting air to pass and passing air through the elastic film to discharge the same into a liquid as air bubbles and further equipped with a dehumidifying mechanism capable of reducing the moisture of air.
