PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve timing adjusting device of a motor use type, capable of properly adjusting valve timing in accordance with the level of real speed of an engine. SOLUTION: This valve timing adjusting device of a motor use type is provided with a control circuit 150 to generate a control signal, and a drive circuit 110 to energize and drive a motor 12 based on the control signal generated by the control circuit 150. The control circuit 150 receives motor rotation signals to represent real speed of the motor 12 and engine rotation signals to represent real speed of the engine generates the control signal based on the motor rotation signals in a case where the real speed of the engine is less than a reference value, and generates the control signal based on the engine rotation signals in a case where the real speed of the engine is the reference value or more.
