PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To place concrete on the outer surface of a wide bottom plate portion with simple reversing work. SOLUTION: This method of manufacturing a hybrid structure having a concrete layer formed on the outer surface of a box-shaped steel shell 3 comprises forming a lower panel member 11 as part of the steel shell 3 including all or part of the bottom plate portion 5 of the steel shell 3 and placing the concrete 16 on the outer surface 12 of the lower panel member 11 in the upward condition.
